Jennifer Sampson, President and CEO
Jennifer Sampson is stepping down as president and CEO of United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. She has spent 25 years with the organization, including 15 years as CEO. Under her tenure, the organization has sharpened its focus with a disciplined strategy centered on long-term outcomes for North Texas families. Sampson has raised over $1 billion in philanthropic resources along with her team. She will transition to the inaugural CEO role at the Stephens Greth Foundation.

Texas Health Resources
Barclay Berdan, Chief Executive Officer
Texas Health Resources CEO Barclay Berdan will retire later in 2026. Serving more than four decades with the nonprofit healthcare system, Berdan took the helm of Texas Health in 2014 after a stint as senior executive vice president and COO. He joined the institution in 1986 as vice president and administrator for Texas Health Southwest, where he was responsible for overseeing construction and launching of the hospital.

Winjie Miao, President
Winjie Miao has been promoted to president with Texas Health. She most recently served as senior vice president and COO since 2022. Following Berdan’s retirement in September, Miao will step in as CEO. As chief experience officer, she was responsible for advancing a more consumer-centric approach to care delivery across the system. Miao has served for more than 25 years with Texas Health, working her way up from administrative resident.
Laura Irvine, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Operating and Growth Officer
Laura Irvine will serve as the new chief operating and growth officer following the promotion of Winjie Miao to president and interim CEO of Texas Health. She will be tasked with enterprise operations, specifically patient and care team experience and supporting growth through geographical expansion. Prior to joining Texas Health, Irvine served in multiple executive roles at systems such as Medical City, Methodist Health, Baylor Scott & White, and more.

Jennifer Schroeder, General Counsel
Texas Health has named Jennifer Schroeder as general counsel. She joined Texas Health in 2008, taking on roles of increasing responsibility. In her role, she will oversee the legal services department, provide legal guidance on compliance and regulatory issues, and direct legal support for managed care and mergers and acquisitions. She replaces Ken Kramer, who retired after more than three decades with Texas Health.

Dallas Mavericks
Kieran Kelliher, Chief Financial Officer
The Dallas Mavericks have appointed Keiran Kelliher as CFO. He spent the last 12 years at the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Bulls Charities, leading efforts to host the NBA All-Star Game in 2020 and to launch the Bulls’ G League franchise in 2016. In Dallas, Kelliher will continue to serve on the NBA G League’s Leadership and Labor Relations Committees and the NBA’s Risk Management Advisory Council. For the Mavericks, Kelliher will oversee finance and administrative matters, with a focus on long-term strategic investments.

Greg Ferrari, Chief Operating Officer
As the Texas Stock Exchange gears up to go online in 2026, Greg Ferrari will be its COO. Ferrari most recently served as head of North American exchange trading at Nasdaq and brings more than two decades of experience in exchange operations and market structure. Ferrari will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the exchange, leading teams for market operations, technology infrastructure, and execution across trading and listing platforms.

Liz Hocker, Global Head of Listings and Capital Markets
Liz Hocker will join the Texas Stock Exchange as global head of listings and capital markets, where she will manage all activities related to bringing companies public and expanding market participation. With over 30 years in capital markets, banking, and business operations—including recent roles launching NYSE Texas and leading Nasdaq Southwest—Hocker will be responsible for developing and executing the TXSE’s IPO listings strategy and driving the growth of its listings business.

Neyaz Mohammadi, Chief Operating Officer
Neyaz Mohammadi has been named COO at Medical City Alliance. In this role, she will oversee all administrative and operational functions, including department management, process improvement, and resource allocation, advancing Medical City Alliance’s commitment to high-quality and patient-centered care. Mohammadi previously served as vice president of operations at Medical City Frisco, overseeing multiple services and departments and leading capital expansion, major projects, and support initiatives.

OmniOn Power has tapped Ho Wai Hong Lam as chief strategy and marketing officer. Lam brings more than 40 years of experience in business development, strategy, and marketing, as well as decades in the semiconductor and engineering industries. In her new role, Lam will oversee corporate strategy development, lead marketing initiatives, and identify opportunities for business growth to drive OmniOn Power’s continued advancement and amplify its position in the global power supply market.

Blas Escarcega, Chief Development Officer
Dallas-based international Korean restaurant franchise Bonchon has appointed Blas Escarcega as its chief development officer. Escarcega will be responsible for market planning, franchise recruitment, site selection, and new-restaurant growth strategy, overseeing Bonchon’s accelerating U.S. expansion as the brand rolls out a new fast-casual prototype. He brings over two decades of development experience to the role.

For the past six years, Straley has run DFW/ATL/PHX Project Solutions and has developed projects for Frito-Lay, Louis Vuitton, Goldman Sachs, Marriott Hotels, and others.
