Jennifer Sampson, President and CEO

Jennifer Sampson is stepping down as president and CEO of United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. She has spent 25 years with the organization, including 15 years as CEO. Under her tenure, the organization has sharpened its focus with a disciplined strategy centered on long-term outcomes for North Texas families. Sampson has raised over $1 billion in philanthropic resources along with her team. She will transition to the inaugural CEO role at the Stephens Greth Foundation.

Barclay Berdan, Chief Executive Officer

Texas Health Resources CEO Barclay Berdan will retire later in 2026. Serving more than four decades with the nonprofit healthcare system, Berdan took the helm of Texas Health in 2014 after a stint as senior executive vice president and COO. He joined the institution in 1986 as vice president and administrator for Texas Health Southwest, where he was responsible for overseeing construction and launching of the hospital.

Winjie Miao, President

Winjie Miao has been promoted to president with Texas Health. She most recently served as senior vice president and COO since 2022. Following Berdan’s retirement in September, Miao will step in as CEO. Miao has served for more than 25 years with Texas Health, working her way up from administrative resident.

Laura Irvine, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Operating and Growth Officer

Laura Irvine will serve as the new chief operating and growth officer following the promotion of Winjie Miao to president and interim CEO of Texas Health. She will be tasked with enterprise operations, specifically patient and care team experience and supporting growth through geographical expansion. Prior to joining Texas Health, Irvine served in multiple executive roles at systems such as Medical City, Methodist Health, Baylor Scott & White, and more.

Texas Health has named Jennifer Schroeder as general counsel. She joined Texas Health in 2008, taking on roles of increasing responsibility. She replaces Ken Kramer, who retired after more than three decades with Texas Health.

Ferrari will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the exchange, leading teams for market operations, technology infrastructure, and execution across trading and listing platforms.

Liz Hocker will join the Texas Stock Exchange as global head of listings and capital markets, where she will manage all activities related to bringing companies public and expanding market participation.
