Margaret Qualley is opening up about the possibility of joining a major movie franchise.
The 30-year-old actress has largely stayed away from making any movies or TV shows that are part of a bigger franchise, though she did appear in a sequel – the recent Happy Gilmore 2.
During a recent interview promoting her new movie Honey Don’t!, Margaret was asked what franchise she would join if she could.

“I don’t think I want to commit to a franchise,” she said on Collider Ladies Night. “It seems like a lot of time, and I’m scared… I’m a commitment-phobe maybe. But also, no one’s asking me to do anything.”
She also addressed rumors and enthusiasm for her to join the X-Men franchise in it’s upcoming reboot.
“Oh sh-t. Oh sh-t, okay,” she said.
However, Margaret didn’t fully rule out joining a franchise, like a five-film agreement, saying it would ultimately come down to who is working on it behind-the-scenes.
“I think just the director. I think if you have an amazing director who you kind of feel safe and excited,” she shared.
