The third installment in the Now You See Me trilogy is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited.
The snappy series’ blend of magic tricks with a high-energy heist film (in a world where magicians are somehow the highest form of entertainment) is superb — but what if you’re itching for something similar to watch to scratch that itch in the meantime?
Watch With Us has you covered — check out these three films that give Now You See Me vibes perfectly.
‘Ocean’s 11’ (2001)
Recently released on parole, suave smooth-talker Danny Ocean (George Clooney) already has his eyes on his next job: the most elaborate casino heist ever seen. Assembling a top-notch team of fellow criminals, Ocean plans to hit hard against the owner of three casinos — a man who happens to be dating his ex-wife.
This kinetic heist comedy is led by an unforgettable performance from Clooney, in addition to a supporting cast that includes Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, and Julia Roberts. Ocean’s 11 is a certified blast and full of wit, with stylish direction and editing to boot. Once you watch the first film, you won’t be able to stop yourself from watching the rest of the Ocean’s franchise.

‘Inside Man’ (2006)
Starring Denzel Washington, Inside Man is directed by Spike Lee (Do the Right Thing) and surrounds Washington’s Detective Frazier, a tough hostage negotiator who meets his match with a sneaky bank robber, Dalton (Clive Owen). When Dalton’s heist turns into a hostage situation, Frazier reports to the scene, but a fixer named Madeleine (Jodie Foster) with a hidden agenda makes the tense situation even more unstable.
With verve, plenty of style and a killer performance from Washington, Lee’s heist thriller isn’t one to miss. Not only is Inside Man a smart genre film, it manages to subvert expectations as well, keeping its audience guessing.

‘Sneakers’ (1992)
No, this film has nothing to do with shoes. The late, great Robert Redford leads the ensemble cast of this hacker-centric flick. Redford plays Martin, a hacker who works on testing the security of software and who is called upon by NSA agents to steal a decoder. Eventually, Martin realizes the agents are rogue, and the decoder poses a massive threat to national security — and then he’s framed for murder.
With a dynamic supporting cast including Dan Aykroyd, Ben Kingsley, and River Phoenix, Sneakers is a fast, funny crime caper that keeps you on your toes while remaining light on its own feet.
