Milap Zaveri On Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Box Office Clash:

Filmmaker Milap Zaveri is elated with the box office success of his latest directorial, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, which faced stiff competition from the big Diwali release Thamma. In an exclusive interaction with movie Talkies, Zaveri opened up about the team’s courageous decision to release their small film alongside a major star-studded production.

“The decision to come on Diwali with this small film against the big film like Thamma was a lion-hearted decision that my distributors, Gaurav Verma, Avanika Films, Aman Gill, along with Anshul Garg took. Harshvardhan Rane and I were also part of the decision and I must give credit to them that they had courage and the conviction in the film you know to come on this date. Anshul especially being the first-time producer was so confident of the movie and its potential. He had a Jigra to take on Thamma,” said Milap.

Zaveri further addressed the challenges the team faced during release week, particularly with limited screens available due to the clash. “You know there are a lot of issues with screen share as everyone knows. I mean, it was yesterday that single screens of India actually started showcasing the film and the film is running to houseful in all those single screens. Imagine a mass film like this didn’t get its share of shows because of the pressure and still the film has done these numbers and today as we speak, the film is going sky high and tomorrow Sunday I believe it will be the biggest day at the box office for this film till now.”
