The Pentagon isn’t thrilled with the depiction of the United States’ missile defense system in Kathryn Bigelow’s newest Netflix movie, A House of Dynamite. The story follows the government responding to a nuclear missile launched by an unidentified enemy.
In one scene, Jared Harris’ Reid Baker said that current missile defenses only have a 50 percent chance of intercepting an Icbm despite their hefty $50 billion price tag.
