Baxter Health is pleased to welcome emergency physician Shawn Anderson, MD, to the medical staff at Fulton County Hospital. He will be joining Adam Gray, MD, and Phillip Sadler, MD. With nearly 20 years of experience as an emergency department physician, Dr. Anderson brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the hospital’s emergency services.
In his most recent role, Dr. Anderson served as the Medical Director at the VA in Mountain Home, Arkansas. His diverse background includes working in various emergency departments across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, giving him a broad range of experience treating a wide array of medical conditions and trauma cases.
Dr. Anderson obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma, before earning his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Oklahoma. Throughout his career, Dr. Anderson has demonstrated a deep commitment to providing high-quality care in high-pressure, fast-paced emergency settings.
