“Black magic isn’t entertainment, It’s the country’s most hidden crime,” says Prerna Arora on Jatadhara –

In an evolving world, emerging research continues to highlight concerns that could impact everyday wellbeing. Here’s the key update you should know about:

Prerna Arora on Black Magic and Jatadhara:

In a world where material greed often overshadows faith, Jatadhara explores the unsettling consequences of humanity’s attempts to manipulate forces beyond comprehension. The Story begins with the legend of Lankebindelu — a mythical treasure said to be protected by dark spirits. Driven by the lure of immense wealth, a group of treasure hunters turns to forbidden rituals rooted in ancient black magic to uncover what lies beneath. But instead of uncovering riches, they awaken a curse that begins to consume their lives in unexpected and terrifying ways.

What lends Jatadhara its disturbing edge is its sense of realism. The rituals, chants, and atmosphere on screen draw inspiration from practices that continue to exist in some parts of India. The film blurs the line between superstition and belief, showing how obsession with the unknown can spiral into tragedy.

Sharing her vision for the movie and her initiative “Black Magic Mukt Bharat,” Prerna Arora states, “Real horror doesn’t happen in theaters. It starts at home.” For her, Jatadhara is more than just a tale, it’s a call to action. The film sheds light on how black magic quietly tears families apart and preys on the vulnerable, all while celebrating the cleansing power of Lord Shiva. “It’s not about blind faith, it’s about spiritual strength,” she emphasizes, highlighting that faith and spiritual energy are the true guardians of India. “Black magic isn’t entertainment. It’s the country’s most hidden crime,” she passionately asserts. Through this project, Prerna transcends her role as a producer to become a cultural advocate, encouraging people to rise above fear and embrace divine consciousness the only genuine remedy for darkness.

At the center of the Story is a devotee of Lord Shiva — an ordinary man who stands firm when others give in to fear. His faith becomes the turning point of the narrative. While black magic thrives on greed and ego, Shiva represents truth, balance, and the destruction of illusion. As the devotee begins his prayers amid the chaos, the film moves from horror to spirituality, depicting a confrontation between divine light and human darkness.
