Build 26100.4351 (KB5063060) for Windows 11 brings emergency fixes to version 24H2

Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 11 build 26100.4351 as part of the out-of-band (OOB) update KB5063060, designed specifically to address critical issues introduced in the June 2025 Patch Tuesday release (KB5060842). This emergency patch targets systems running version 24H2 and brings essential compatibility fixes, most notably resolving stability problems with Easy Anti-Cheat, which led to game crashes in popular titles like Fortnite, particularly on devices flagged as incompatible.

According to the company’s official announcement, KB5063060 includes all cumulative and security updates from KB5060842 but adds targeted fixes to resolve unexpected reboots and crashes triggered during game launches involving the Easy Anti-Cheat service.

If your device has already installed the June update (KB5060842), the new patch will automatically apply only the additional emergency fixes. However, if your system skipped or was blocked from installing KB5060842, this out-of-band update will apply the full set of features, improvements, and bug fixes bundled in both the June release and the new hotfix.

The update will download and install automatically on supported systems. However, you can always check manually through Settings > Windows Update and clicking the “Check for updates” button.

Alternatively, you can always apply it manually by downloading the update KB5063060 from the Update Catalog website.

Finally, the company notes a known issue with the update that includes blurry or unclear CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) text when displayed at 96 DPI (100 percent scaling) in Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. The problem is due to limited pixel density, which can reduce the clarity and alignment of the characters. 

If you’re noticing this issue, a workaround is to change the display scaling to 125 or 150 percent to improve clarity.
