Ford F-150, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator Brake Recall

Vehicles recalled: Ford F-150 trucks, Ford Expedition SUVs, and Lincoln Navigator SUVs with 3.5-liter Ecoboost engines manufactured between Feb. 1, 2017 and June 30, 2017

The problem: An issue with the braking system might cause fluid to leak from the master cylinder front wheel circuit to the brake booster. If this happens, the vehicle may become more difficult to stop.

The fix: Ford dealerships will replace the brake master cylinder and, if necessary, the brake booster. The repair is free of charge.

How to contact the manufacturer: Owners may contact Ford at 866-436-7332.

NHTSA campaign number: 25V236. Ford’s own number for this recall is 25S37. Previous recalls were 22V150 and 20V332.
