Unlike the bathroom, your bedroom may feel like the safest space in your home. But you could still get tripped up there.
For instance, poorly placed throw rugs, a high bed that’s hard to get into and out of, and dim lighting can make you more likely to fall.
Here are ways to increase the safety and comfort of your bedroom from Allysin E. Bridges-German, a clinical assistant professor of occupational therapy and occupational science at Towson University in Maryland, and from CR’s Chris Regan, who leads our pillow testing.
