SUPERIOR, WI. (Northern News Now) – Some family-friendly movies are coming to Barker’s Island this Summer as a part of the “Movies on the Island” series.
The event will be hosted by the Douglas County Drug Prevention Coalition.
The coalition says these movie nights help families enjoy outdoor summer nights, without the presence of substances.
The outdoor movies will take place on the first three Saturdays in August.
This year’s movie dates are:
- Saturday, August 2: Moana 2
- Saturday, August 9: The Spongebob Movie, Sponge Out of Water
- Saturday, August 16: Dolphin Tale
All movies begin at dusk.
