New on Netflix this week: Top picks
‘One Piece’ season 2
Genre: Fantasy adventure series
What it’s about: Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) is on an adventure to become the fabled “King of the Pirates.” He’s got some friends — including Nami (Emily Rudd) and Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu) — and some useful rubber-like abilities. To become king, though, he must find the legendary One Piece treasure and that means venturing the Grand Line.
Why you should watch it: This Netflix original is a hit fantasy show in its own right, but it also comes from iconic source material. The good news for fans is that this iteration of “One Piece” has been praised as an excellent adaptation of the original manga. So whether you’re a new fan of the series or not, it’s worth a watch.
Watch “One Piece” season 2 on Netflix starting March 10
‘Virgin River’ season 7
Genre: Romance drama series
What it’s about: Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) arrived at Virgin River, California seasons ago as a midwife and nurse practitioner looking for a fresh start. Years later, she’s now married to Jack (Martin Henderson) and trying to start a family. She just needs to steer clear of the drama of this small town, and that won’t be easy.
Why you should watch it: If you have Netflix but are wondering where all the soap operas are, you need look no further than “Virgin River.” Catch up on the first six seasons before season 7 arrives on March 12.
Watch “Virgin River” season 7 on Netflix starting March 12
‘Love Is Blind: The Reunion’
Genre: Reality dating live event
What it’s about: The singles (and couples) from “Love Is Blind” season 10 are returning for a live reunion event.
Why you should watch it: If you like “Love Is Blind” but you really love drama, this live event is for you. Contestants are returning to spill all the tea from the past season and you won’t want to miss a moment.
Watch “Love Is Blind: The Reunion” live on Netflix starting at 9 p.m. ET on March 11
‘Age of Attraction’
Genre: Reality dating series
What it’s about: Dating is hard, and for these singles, it’s become impossible to find the right person. In “Age of Attraction,” they’ll get another shot at love, but this time, it might be with someone from an entirely different generation than theirs.
Why you should watch it: People say that age is just a number, but this dating show is going to put that claim to the test. If you like a Netflix dating series, I see no reason you shouldn’t check this one out.
Watch “Age of Attraction” on Netflix starting March 11
‘Derrick Stroup: Nostalgic’
Genre: Docuseries
What it’s about: Alabama comedian Derrick Stroup has arrived on Netflix this week with his debut hour-long comedy special for the streamer: “Nostalgic.”
Why you should watch it: If you’re a 90s kid like me and remember a time before the internet, it seems like Stroup’s material in this special is going to be quite relevant to you. But even if you’re not a Millennial, you’ll still want to check out “Nostalgic” if you’re looking for a laugh.
Watch “Derrick Stroup: Nostalgic” on Netflix starting March 10
‘Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere’
Genre: Documentary movie
What it’s about: Documentarian Louis Theroux explores the depths of the seedy “manosphere” over 90 minutes. Interviewing subjects like Harrison Sullivan, aka HS Tikky Tokky, Myron Gaines, Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, aka Sneako, Justin Waller and Ed Matthews, he explores the toxic masculinity and grift that lies beneath the surface of this internet movement.
Why you should watch it: You might know Theroux best from his appearance on “Chicken Shop Date” and his “Jiggle Jiggle” rap, but the 55-year-old bespectacled Brit is an acclaimed documentary filmmaker. The manosphere is certainly a relevant topic in 2026, so if you’re looking to see the truth behind this chauvinist movement, you won’t want to miss this documentary.
Watch “Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere” on Netflix starting March 11
‘That Night’
Genre: Spanish crime thriller series
What it’s about: “That Night” centers around Elena (Clara Galle), who accidentally hits a man with her car one night on vacation in the Dominican Republic. She turns to her sister for help, but they only end up making things much, much worse.
Why you should watch it: If you love a gripping thriller based on a hit novel, “That Night” should be right up your alley. Just remember to turn on the subtitles, since the six-part crime thriller is in Spanish.
Watch “That Night” on Netflix starting March 13
