Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film promises to present SRK in one of his most intense and high-octane roles yet. According to a report by Midday, the upcoming schedule will feature a major chase-combat sequence that combines hand-to-hand combat with advanced gun choreography.
“It’s a hybrid chase-combat sequence that begins with hand-to-hand combat stitched with tactical gun choreography. The set-piece will also have wire-assist jumps and close-quarter grappling. The team is working with a custom-designed stunt rig, and Shah Rukh will perform several key beats himself,” a source revealed.
The first teaser for King, unveiled on SRK’s birthday, already took the internet by storm. Fans were thrilled to see the actor in a rugged and action-packed avatar, marking his return to the action space after Jawan (2023) and Pathaan (2023).
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix, King is shaping up to be one of the biggest action spectacles in Bollywood. With Siddharth Anand at the helm — known for films like War and Pathaan — and Shah Rukh Khan leading the charge, expectations are sky-high. The film’s release date is yet to be officially announced, but anticipation among fans is already soaring. As per sources, the makers are looking to release the film the last quarter of 2026.
