Thunderbolts Post Credit Scenes Have Leaked, and You’re Not Ready for It

Thunderbolts, the next major Marvel movie, has not been released yet, and fans have had their fair share of skepticism regarding this project. However, their doubts seem to have disappeared after a wave of positive reviews from the early screening of the movie. In light of the early screening, both the post-credit scenes of Thunderbolts have leaked online, and they finally set up upcoming MCU movies. Now, if the leaks turn out to be true, this is going to be truly massive.

How Many Post-Credit Scenes Does Thunderbolts Have?

According to leaks, Thunderbolts has one mid-credit and one post-credit scene. Since this information comes via leaks that can turn out to be untrue, I suggest you take this with a pinch of salt. Moreover, let’s wait for the movie to release in theaters on May 2, 2025, to confirm the same and further dissect the post-credit scenes in a detailed story.

Before we get to the details, let’s talk about the asterisk in the Thunderbolts movie title. Initially, it was unclear why it had been placed there. But later, it was confirmed that the asterisk means that the Avengers are not available.

Considering the Thunderbolts team gets rid of The Void and saves the day in the movie, they will, in turn, be left with a new superhero, Sentry. This means they will now have everything to form a new superhero team.

The theories surrounding the movie claim that the name, Thunderbolts, was always a placeholder. It will be changed to New Avengers in the movie. And well, the theory seems to be quite true based on the mid-credits scene leaks. It shows the Red Guardian grocery shopping and looking for a cereal box with “New Avengers” written on it, along with his team’s photo.

What Happens in The Thunderbolts Post-Credit Scene?

You are so not ready for what comes next. In the post-credits scene of Thunderbolts, we see our new band of superheroes sitting around the table talking about how Sam Wilson, aka Captain America, is not happy with them using the name “New Avengers” since he is building a team of his own.

Meanwhile, their computer sends in a notification of a ship arriving on Earth. In the Thunderbolts post-credits scene, this ship has a 4 logo painted in the Fantastic Four colors.

This scene suggests that the Fantastic Four fail to protect their world from Galactus in the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps movie, and escape to the Earth-616 timeline. With that being said, if the leaks stand to be true, this might just be one of the best post-credits scenes in a while, setting up the much-anticipated Avengers Doomsday. So, let us know in the comments what you guys think!
