War 2 sees a huge Monday Drop:
Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR’s much-awaited action entertainer War 2 opened with decent but underwhelming numbers at the box office, but the film has now seen a huge fall in collections. After a the extended holiday weekend, the film faced a sharp drop on Monday, raising concerns about its long-term performance.
War 2 started its run with ₹28 crore on Thursday, followed by a huge jump on Friday due to the holiday (Independence Day), collecting ₹45 crore. The weekend continued on a decent note, with ₹26 crore each on Saturday (Janmashtmi Holiday) and Sunday. This brought the film’s four-day extended weekend total to ₹125 crore. This total had given hings about the Monday drop and very much sealed its fate too.
