With footfalls of nearly 3.15 crore in Hindi alone, the film proved SRK’s unmatched pull among audiences.

It also ended the year as the highest-grossing Bollywood as well as Indian movie, a rare feat in a highly competitive market.

The success of Jawan came just months after Pathaan, giving Shah Rukh Khan two back-to-back all-time grossers and, more importantly, back-to-back entries in the ₹1000 crore worldwide club. No other Bollywood actor has achieved this milestone, making Shah Rukh Khan the undisputed king of the box office comeback era.
