Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Lightsabers and Abilities

Lightsabers, the iconic weapons of both Jedi and Sith, return in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 as part of its Star Wars-themed content. These weapons not only deflect blaster bolts but also provide gameplay advantages. A Lightsaber grants increased movement speed, allows double jumps, and removes fall damage when equipped. Players can acquire Lightsabers by completing training or looting them from defeated opponents.

Training with hologram Rey unlocks the Blue Lightsaber and the Force Push ability, which sends objects and enemies flying forward. Alternatively, training with a hologram of Emperor Palpatine grants the Red Lightsaber and the Force Lightning ability, ideal for electrifying nearby enemies.

It’s important to note that Force Abilities are linked to the player, not the Lightsaber itself. Simply picking up a saber will not grant powers unless the user has completed the relevant training. Additionally, defeating the Darth Vader Samurai boss rewards players with a unique Red Lightsaber and the Force Saber Throw ability, which allows the saber to be thrown and return, similar to a boomerang.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Mythic, Medal, and Utility Item

Captain Phasma appears as a boss at the First Order Base. Defeating her grants the Mythic Captain Phasma’s F-11D Blaster and the Phasma Blaster Medal. This medal reduces the weapon’s overheating rate and shortens its cooldown period. However, players who carry the medal become visible on enemy mini-maps, and the visibility radius increases with each medal obtained.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Upcoming Weapons

In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, several new Star Wars-themed weapons, Lightsabers, and abilities are arriving throughout May 2025. On May 8, players can train with hologram Mace Windu to earn a Purple Lightsaber and unlock Force Pull, which lets you drag enemies or objects toward you. On the same day, hologram Darth Maul becomes available, offering a Red Lightsaber along with Force Throw, an ability that launches nearby items as deadly projectiles.

Then, on May 15, Chewbacca joins the fight, bringing his powerful Wookiee Bowcaster, a charged energy weapon perfect for mid-range battles. Also starting that day, players can find the CA-87 Jawa Scatter Blaster in chests across the island—a high-damage, close-range shotgun-style blaster making its Fortnite debut.

Finally, on May 22, the Mandalorians arrive with more iconic gear. Players will be able to obtain the Amban Sniper Rifle, ideal for long-range targeting, and the new WESTAR-34 Dual Blaster Pistols for fast-paced close combat. The Mandalorian Jetpack also returns, giving players enhanced mobility during firefights.
