We talked with 15 parents to see which features they considered to be the most important in a bottle warmer. They wanted a bottle warmer that was quick and easy to use (and clean), wouldn’t overheat, and came in certain sizes.
Dana Keester, a usability expert at CR, took that into consideration when assessing our bottle warmer contenders. Each one was evaluated for warming speed and ease of use. We also left them on after the warming process to find out whether the milk’s temperature exceeded 104° F, the maximum experts recommend to avoid the deterioration of important nutrients. For more details on our assessment, check out our section on how we evaluated bottle warmers.
