The nationwide incentives featured below are good until at least Aug. 30, 2024. The vehicles are listed in rank order by the percentage of potential savings off the MSRP, which this month is 6 to 16 percent. (And yes, with electric vehicles there may be additional savings through federal tax credits and other incentives.) Similar discounts can be found on other versions in addition to the specific trim and configuration that we spotlight.
Although each model highlighted here has incentives, transaction data from our partner TrueCar shows that, on average, six of these picks are selling for a bit over sticker price. This underscores the importance of being armed with the latest data and using it to negotiate or using a car-buying service. Of course, local supply and demand will influence how much a dealer is willing to bend on price.
