Lash is an initiator hero in Deadlock who can be hard to master if you are new to the game. Well, with the right items in your inventory, you can always be better with him. In our Deadlock Lash build guide, we have compiled all the best items you can buy to maximize the potential of this hero. Even if you are not the best with his ability usage, you can still scale damage and feel stronger with our build.
Best Lash Item Build in Deadlock
Note: You can find this build in Deadlock by searching ‘Beebom Lash Build‘ (ID: 168336) in the Public Builds section. You can either directly use our guide or copy it and edit it as per your need, from the game’s Browse Build section.
Best Early Game Items
The lane period for Lash is crucial as he can easily push enemies to the back while constantly healing himself. To take advantage of this, get the Headshot Booster and Hollow Point Ward first.
You can get an Extra Charge first if you go aggressive with Grapple. Otherwise, get Extra Stamina and rush Mystic Shot. Get Mystic Reach to stun enemies easily at a further range and Sprint Boots to gank other lanes.
If your Flog is not healing you enough, Healing Booster can help you heal more. Having a Healing Rite in your inventory early can always be handy. You can sell the rite later for inventory space.
Best Core/Mid-Game Items
If you want to go more objective-based, then Tesla Bullets is your key item. It will help you farm easily while you push lanes. If you are playing more initiator roles, Majestic Leap should be your first priority item in the mid-game.
Once you have both the items, get Quicksilver Reload, and you can add it to your Flog or Grapple. For easier use, it will be better to imbue it to Flog. With the Superior Stamina giving you more air time, dash, and wall jump chance, it is also a crucial item for Lash.
If the fights are going easier, you can get Improved Cooldown first and keep snowballing. However, if you struggle to survive, get the Enchanter’s Barrier after the first four core items.
Best Late Game Items
Get the Improved Burst once you approach the late game immediately for massive scaling in all your ability damage. Choose between Superior Cooldown or Warp Stone, depending on the game’s situation. The Warp Stone will give you more chances to run out of fights if you struggle to survive.
Improved Reach will give you more range for all your abilities. You can imbue it to your ultimate to grab more enemies at once. Get the Rapid Recharge to reduce cooldown and have more Grapple charges, which will help you go in and out of fights more efficiently. Before you get some Luxury items, you can get the Headhunter, which will help you heal with every headshot you hit.
Lash Luxury Items
6200 Souls | 9700 Souls | 4250 Souls | 4250 Souls |

In games where you are on top of the enemies, you can pick the Boundless Spirit and Crippling Headshot first. Both the items will scale up your damage and other stats. However, for more survivability, I prefer the armor first. Improved Spirit Armor and Improved Bullet Armor will be a better pick if you are getting in fights more often.
Lash Situational Items
1250 Souls | 1250 Souls | 3000 Souls | 3000 Souls |
---|---|---|---|
If you are playing a much more initiative role, you can pick an early Cold Front to control more enemies while your carry teammates clean house. Against heroes like Abrams, Shiv, or Infernus, you can get Healbane. Metal Skin is an ideal pick against heroes like Wraith or Haze. You can also get Escalating Resilience if you are playing more gun-based.

Lash Ability Point Order
As a primary frontline hero, your goal as Lash will always be to keep going first in a fight. That is why it can get hard for you to survive easily. To deal with that, get T2 on Flog to get a cheap cooldown heal for every fight or gank you invest into. You can combine it with T3 Ground Strike, which scales damage depending on how far you smash from.
After getting full points in Flog and Ground Strike, get Grapple T2 for more weapon damage buff. This will go perfectly with the item build you are following for Lash. However, before maxing Grapple, get T3 on Death Slam for regular ultimate in the game’s later stages. This can help you change the tide of every fight.
