- To show multiple clocks on Windows 11, open Settings > Time & language > Date & time, click “Additional Clocks,” and configure the new time zone clock.
- Alternatively, open the Clock apps and add the different time zone clocks you want from the “World clock” page.
On Windows 11, you can set up multiple clocks to display the time from different time zones in at least two ways, and in this guide, I’ll explain the steps to complete this process.
Usually, the ability to access different clocks comes in handy when you collaborate with people in different time zones, as it helps you schedule meetings at times convenient for everyone, respond to emails and messages promptly, and coordinate deadlines and project timelines. On the other hand, if you frequently travel or live in different time zones, multiple clocks can help you keep track of your local time and the time in other regions.
Regardless of the reason, Windows 11 allows you to set multiple time zone clocks from the Settings or Clock apps. However, you cannot add them to the Taskbar directly. For instance, the Settings app allows you to add up to two clocks in the Calendar view, and the Clock app only shows the time for the different locations within the app.
In this guide, I’ll show you two ways to configure additional clocks on Windows 11.
Add multiple clocks on Windows 11 from Settings app
To add multiple clocks for different time zones to the Taskbar, use these steps:
-
Open Settings on Windows 11.
-
Click on Time & language.
-
Click the Date & time page.
-
Click the Additional Clocks option under the “Related Links” section.
-
Click the Additional Clocks tab.
-
Check the “Show clock 1” option.
-
Select the time zone for the clock.
-
Confirm a display name for the second clock.
-
(Optional) Check the “Show clock 2” option.
-
Select the time zone for the clock.
-
Confirm a display name for the third clock.
-
Click the Apply button.
-
Click the OK button.
Once you complete the steps, the secondary clock will appear in the Taskbar, but it’ll be available from the “Calendar” view when opening the “Notifications” pane.
You can also hover over the date and time area in the Taskbar to display a tooltip with the different times configured on the computer.
If you want to remove a clock, you can use the same instructions outlined above, but in step 6, clear the option and save the settings.
Add multiple clocks on Windows 11 from Clock app
To access additional clocks on Windows 11, use these steps:
-
Open Start.
-
Search for Clock and click the top result to open the app.
-
Click on World clock.
-
Click the “Add a new city” button from the bottom right.
-
Search and select the new location.
-
Click the Add button.
-
(Optional) Right-click the newly added clock and choose the “Pin to Start” option.
-
(Optional) Click the Compare button from the bottom right.
-
Compare the clock at different times during the day or year (using the calendar selector from the top left).
After you complete the steps, the clocks will be available from the “World clock” tab in the Clock app. If you select the option to pin the clock to the Start menu, a shortcut will a shortcut will appear in the “Pinned” section of the menu.
If you want to remove a clock, click the “Edit clocks” (Pen) button in the bottom right and choose the delete button for the location you want to remove.
Unlike the option available through the Settings app, you can add as many clock time zones as you want through the Clock app.
