How to Preload Path of Exile 2 on PC (Game Client)

Path of Exile 2 developers have announced that they will release a standalone PC client for download on December 5 at 5 PM PST. Players will be able to pre-load the game on a PC using this client.

However, after the patching is completed, the game might still need to download a few update patches on the official release date of the early access. Other than that, after downloading the game, players won’t be able to log in until Early Access launches.

Preload Path of Exile 2 Early Access on Steam

As of now, there is no option to preload Path of Exile 2 on Steam. PC players can use the PC game client method given above to pre-load the game. The PoE 2 Early Access preload is already available on the Xbox Series X/S as long as you have purchased the supporter packs with the early access key. PlayStation 5 players who have purchased the Path of Exile 2 founder’s packs should be able to pre-load the game 24 hours prior to the Early Access. Head to the PlayStation Store, and you should see a pre-load option 24 hours before the launch if you have purchased the founder’s pack.
