Oliver Grayson has the ultimate potential to surpass every other hero as he hails from a powerful alien race. At the moment, Oliver is shaping up to be the secondary star of the show. Oliver Grayson Is Half Viltrumite and Half Thraxan

We always thought Omni-Man had only one son throughout his lifetime. But after leaving Earth in the finale of season 1, Nolan drifted to Thraxa and became the emperor of their nation in a sudden turn of events. During this time, Nolan wedded Andressa, a Thraxan. Then, Oliver Grayson was born to them.

During the events of season 2, Oliver was given to be raised by Mark as Viltrumites began hunting them as well and Andressa was at the end of her life. Therefore, Mark as his half-brother took Oliver with him to Earth. Debbie becomes the stepmother of Oliver Grayson and raises him like her own kid later in the story.

He appears like a human, but his skin color is purple due to his mother’s Thraxan genes. He was just a baby in season 2 but now he is stepping up to be a superhero and befittingly called the Kid Omni-Man in Invincible Season 3.

Oliver Grayson’s Power and Abilities

The Viltrumites have always been the omnipotent beings in the Invincible universe. You don’t need to be a pure Viltrumite to be powerful as seen with Mark Grayson aka Invincible who is only half human and half Viltrumite. But the first son of Omni-Man had all the powers to wreck anyone in his way once he awakened his powers when he turned 18. It’s because the Viltrumite genes always overpower the other to make the person a complete Viltrumite. It’s the same case with Oliver and he is half thraxan and half Viltrumite in his case.

• Superhuman strength: Viltrumites are built differently and so is Oliver, he hasn’t unlocked the full potential of his strength yet as he is a kid, but he will become a force to be reckoned with in the future.
• Unreal speed: Oliver can also move at blazing fast speeds like any other Viltrumite.
• Fast learner: Thraxan had a limited lifespan so they aged fast and naturally learned everything fast as well. As Oliver has Thraxan genes within him, he has the knack for perceiving and learning everything faster than a normal being.
• Incredibly resilient: Both his Viltrumite and Thraxan genes contribute to his exceptional durability as he can take hits yet come out unscathed. We have to wait a bit more to see his endurance as an adult superhero.
• Self-sustenance: Oliver can go on for long periods without meeting the daily metabolical needs of his body due to his Thraxan genes. An overlooked ability of a superhero that always comes in handy any day.
• Slow aging: Although Thraxans had a very short lifespan don’t worry as Oliver’s Viltrumite genes saved him from aging so quickly. As a result, he can continue to be a superhero in his prime for a long time without having to worry about his end.
• Aerial Prowess: The Grayson family has the gift to fly as a Viltrumite. So, Oliver can fly everywhere without any sweat.

Who Is the Voice Actor Playing Oliver Grayson in Invincible?

Oliver Grayson as a toddler was voiced by Lincoln Bodin in Invincible Season 2. In Invincible Season 3, Oliver Grayson aka Kid Omni-Man, will be voiced by Christian Convery, as confirmed via an IMDb listing. Christian Convery has previously lent his voice to The Monkey, an adaptation of Stephen King’s novel. He will also appear in the much-anticipated Frankenstein, a movie by Guillermo Del Toro.
