Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango Recall ABS, Brake Light Problems

Vehicles Recalled
• Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs built between June 11, 2018, and July 12, 2019
• Dodge Durango SUVs built between June 12, 2018, and July 12, 2019

The problem: These vehicles were built with an ABS/hydraulic control unit (HCU) module that does not properly sense pressure in the braking system. As a result, it can cause the brake lights to illuminate when the vehicle isn’t braking, or disable the ABS and ESC.

The fix: Stellantis says it is still working on a fix for the problem.

How to contact the manufacturer: Owners may contact Stellantis at 800-853-1403.

NHTSA campaign number: 24V838. Stellantis’ own number for this recall is 94B.
