The following list includes movies available at local theaters, and movies that are available to watch through online streaming and video on demand services including: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, Hulu, Vudu, FandangoNow, Apple TV+, YouTube, Disney+, HBO Max and more.

• “Ella McKay” (PG-13): Comedy about a young woman with a stressful career who juggles her family and work life. Written and directed by Oscar and Emmy Award winner James L. Brooks. Starring Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Lowden, Kumail Nanjiani, Ayo Edebiri, Spike Fearn, Rebecca Hall, Julie Kavner, Becky Ann Baker, Joey Brooks with Albert Brooks and Woody Harrelson. In theaters, Dec. 12.

• “Silent Night, Deadly Night” (NR): A reimagining of the 1984 cult horror classic. After Billy witnesses his parents’ murder on Christmas Eve, he grows up to deliver an annual spree of holiday violence every Christmas. Starring Ruby Modine, Rohan Campbell, David Lawrence Brown and Mark Acheson. In theaters, Dec. 12.

• “Not Without Hope” (R): Based on the bestselling memoir by Nick Schuyler and Jeré Longman, which tells the true story of four friends whose boat capsizes in the Gulf of Mexico. The four men were forced to cling to the hull to survive. The US Coast Guard launched a daring rescue effort through a raging storm. Starring Zachary Levi, Josh Duhamel, Quentin Plair and Floriana Lima. In theaters, Dec. 12.

• “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” (PG-13): One year after the supernatural events at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, the town hosts a “Fazfest,” launching a new wave of animatronic terror. Based on the video game series created by Scott Cawthon, starring Skeet Ulrich, Mckenna Grace, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Megan Fox, Josh Hutcherson and Freddy Carter.

• “Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair” (R): Director Quentin Tarantino unites the revenge epic, “Kill Bill Vol. 1” and Vol. 2 into one movie, with a new anime sequence. Starring Uma Thurman, Vivica A. Fox, Daryl Hannah, Lucy Liu, Michael Madsen.

• “Hamnet” (PG-13): Historical drama film based on the 2020 novel by Maggie O’Farrell, that reimagines the life of William Shakespeare and his wife, Agnes, who lost their son at a young age and how that inspired the creation of Shakespeare’s masterpiece, “Hamlet”. Directed by Academy Award winning writer/director Chloé Zhao, starring Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, Joe Alwyn and Noah Jupe.

• “Merrily We Roll Along” (PG-13): Filmed version of the Broadway musical, it features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Jonathan Groff, Lindsay Mendez, Krystal Joy Brown, Katie Rose Clarke and Reg Rogers.

• “Jujutsu Kaisen-Execution” (R): Dark fantasy anime, kickoff to “Jujutsu Kaisen” Season 3.

• “Zootopia 2” (PG): Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated sequel with detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde returning to follow the trail of a mysterious new reptile who turns the mammal metropolis of Zootopia upside down. Featuring the voices of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Shakira, Ke Huy Quan, Macaulay Culkin and Quinta Brunson.

• “Eternity” (PG-13): Sci-fi romantic comedy about a woman who must choose between the man she has spent her life with, or her first love who died young and has waited decades for her. Starring Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, Callum Turner and John Early.

• “Wicked: For Good” (PG): Concluding chapter of the musical “Wicked” about the untold story of the witches of Oz. Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), now demonized as The Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, hidden within the Ozian forest while Glinda (Ariana Grande) resides at the palace in Emerald City, Also starring Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum.

• “Rental Family” (PG-13): Set in Tokyo, an American actor (Brendan Fraser) takes a job with a service that rents out stand-in family members, and as he plays different roles he unexpectedly finds real human connection. Also starring Mari Yamamoto, Takehiro Hira and Shannon Gorman.

• “Sisu: Road to Revenge” (R): A sequel in which a Finnish ex-soldier dismantles the house where his family was killed in war to rebuild it somewhere safe, only to be tracked by the Red Army commander who killed his family. Starring Jorma Tommila, Stephen Lang, Richard Brake and Jaakko Hutchings.

• “Now You See Me-Now You Don’t” (PG-13): The third film in the Now You See Me franchise, with the Four Horsemen returning along with a new group of illusionists to try to bring down a worldwide criminal network. Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, with Rosamund Pike, and Morgan Freeman.

• “The Running Man” (R): In a near-future society, “The Running Man” is the top-rated show on television, where contestants, known as runners, must survive 30 days while being hunted by assassins. Starring Glen Powell, William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera, Daniel Ezra, Jayme Lawson with Colman Domingo and Josh Brolin.

• “Predator-Badlands” (PG-13): The newest entry in the “Predator” franchise is set in the future on a remote planet, where a young Predator (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), outcast from his clan, finds an unlikely ally in Thia (Elle Fanning).

• “Sarah’s Oil” (PG): Set in the early 1900s, based on the true story of young Sarah Rector who believes there’s oil beneath the barren land she’s allotted in Oklahoma Indian Territory. As greedy sharks close in, Sarah seeks community help to maintain control of her oil-rich land, eventually becoming one of the first female African American millionaires. Starring Zachary Levi, Bridget Regan, Naya Desir-Johnson and Sonequa Martin-Green.
