Toyota Sienna Minivans Recalled to Fix Defective Third-Row Seats

Due to a manufacturing error, the bolts used to attach the third-row seatbacks may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the vehicles may not meet federal motor vehicle safety standards.

In a written statement, Toyota said that the seatbacks may not perform as intended and could increase the risk of injury to seated occupants. To fix the problem, the automaker says that dealerships will tighten the bolts to their proper specification free of charge.
