What Is ‘2A’ in Invincible Season 3 Episode 6?

Episode 6 of Invincible season 3 is now out and it brought us the traumatising and sad origin of the villain called Powerplex. He is an employee at the science division at the GDA who steals experimental power plates and attaches them to himself to enhance his kinetic energy absorption powers and fight Invincible. However, while he was at the lab, one of the scientists mentioned something about ‘2A’ and we didn’t get any explanation regarding what it is. So, here I am to tell you what 2A is in Invincible Season 3 Episode 6.

What Did Scientist Mean by ‘2A’ in Invincible?

When Scott or Powerplex starts discussing whether Invincible is a threat or not, the female scientist says that Invincible is the only actual weapon the world has against the Viltrumites. She refers to Anessa as Project 3 and acknowledges how she was able to overcome Invincible before he was made stronger by the GDA. While mentioning that Invincible is the only real weapon the world has against the Vintrumites, she also mentions, “at least, unless 2A Grows up”.

The scientist is referring to Oliver as 2A in Invincible Season 3 Episode 6. They use codes like these because Cecil cannot let the employees know the real names of superpowered individuals to safeguard their identities.

What she means is that if Viltrumites attack the planet, their only line of defense against them is Mark aka Invincible. When Oliver grows up, he could assist Mark, and the two of them could enhance their chances of victory when the Viltrum empire launches the attack promised by Anessa in Invincible Season 2.

We already know that Oliver grows way faster than humans do because of his Thraxan; it’s only a matter of a year or so before he technically reaches the same age as Mark. The ending of the latest episode also confirms the Invincible War in the upcoming episodes, which also means that by the end of it, Conquest could also show up.

This is the point where Oliver engages in actual combat with Conquest and gets severely injured and later accompanies Mark and the others to wage war against Viltrum.
