Who Is the Main Villain in Thunderbolts?

The main villain in Thunderbolts is The Void. Now, if you look at the trailer for Thunderbolts, by the looks of it, who the villain of the movie is seems to be pretty straightforward. In the trailer, we see Sentry turn people into shadows, so that must mean that he is the main villain, right? This is where you might be wrong. Robert Reynolds aka Sentry has what can best be defined as a split personality.

Within Robert’s mind, there are two parallels, one is good while the other is evil. The good one is Sentry, while the evil one is The Void. Even though they share the same body, i.e., Robert Reynolds, they are two different people. This is why the villain in Thunderbolts is The Void and not Sentry.
