In an evolving world, emerging research continues to highlight concerns that could impact everyday wellbeing. Here’s the key update you should know about:
War 2 Advance Booking Update:
War 2 is seeing a decent but not spectacular response in advance bookings so far. As of now, the film has crossed ₹9 crore in advance sales across India. The combined data from the top two multiplex chains — PVRInox and Cinepolis — shows ticket sales in the range of 38,000–40,000.
However, when compared to War (2019), the first film in the franchise starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, the numbers are significantly lower. The original War had historic advance bookings, selling 4.06 lakh tickets across 3,900 screens and raking in a record-breaking ₹29.5 crore in advance sales — the highest ever for a Bollywood movie at that time.
For War 2, trade experts believe the final advance ticket count could end up around half of the original’s total, even with the advantage of higher ticket prices in 2025 and wide release on 5000 screens. While this might help boost the revenue figure slightly, matching or surpassing the initials of b benchmark seems unlikely.
War 2 features Hrithik Roshan returning as Kabir, alongside Jr. NTR and Kiara Advani, with Ayan Mukerji directing. The film is expected to have strong single-day collections once it releases, but the advance booking pace suggests that it may rely more on word-of-mouth and post-release momentum rather than shattering pre-release records.
With two days left before its big release, the coming 48 hours will be crucial. If the trend picks up, War 2 could still post a solid opening — but topping the record breaking opening of War (2019) will be a steep challenge.
