Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs, powered by Qualcomm’s Arm-based Snapdragon X Elite chipset, were released last year. Qualcomm promised that a dedicated Adreno Control Panel is coming, similar to Nvidia’s Control Panel and AMD’s Adrenalin to manage GPU settings. Now in 2025, Qualcomm has finally released a beta version (2025.1.0.1) of Adreno Control Panel for Snapdragon X Elite PCs.
The new Adreno Control Panel supports Vulkan, DX11, and DX12 drivers. Qualcomm in its blog writes, “The streamlined process makes it easier and more intuitive for users to keep their drivers up to date, ensuring they always have access to the latest GPU driver features and performance enhancements.”
So, if you have a Snapdragon X Elite-powered Copilot+ PC, here is how you can download and install the Adreno Control Panel.
- Head to Qualcomm’s website and create a free account.
- You will have to confirm your email and wait for the Qualcomm ID to get activated.
- Once you are logged in, download the Adreno Control Panel and unzip it.
- Now, double-click on the MSIX package and install it on your Snapdragon X Elite PC.
- Once installed, it will automatically detect Steam games and create graphics profiles to manage frame rate, super resolution, etc.
- You can also update the Adreno GPU driver on your Snapdragon X Elite PC seamlessly.
What I like about the Adreno Control Panel is that you can also view GPU details such as the driver version, exact SKU, resolution, refresh rate, and more. In addition, the CPU section shows the current clock speed, current voltage, cache size, etc. This should allow users to accurately measure CPU and GPU performance on Windows 11, powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor.
