New on Netflix in March 2026: Top picks
‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’
Watch On
Genre: British crime drama movie
What it’s about: “The Immortal Man” picks up in 1940, years after the events of “Peaky Blinders.” Cillian Murphy returns to Birmingham as iconic gangster Tommy Shelby, and this time, more than just his fate is at stake in this feature-length film.
Why you should watch it: If you loved the original “Peaky Blinders” series, then adding this movie to your watchlist is a no-brainer. But even if you never watched the original show, watching a crime drama set in WWII Britain starring Murphy, Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Stephen Graham and Barry Keoghan should also be a no-brainer.
Stream “Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man” on Netflix starting March 20
‘War Machine’
Watch On
Genre: Action sci-fi movie
What it’s about: Alan Ritchson is a top recruit for the U.S. Army Rangers. But even he couldn’t expect that his training would turn into a life-or-death skirmish against a futuristic killing machine.
Why you should watch it: If you like sitting down with a bucket of popcorn for a tense action movie, then “War Machine” looks set to deliver based on the official trailer. I’m certainly excited to see Ritchson go toe-to-toe with the ultimate killing machine.
Stream “War Machine” on Netflix starting March 6
‘Vladimir’
Watch On
Genre: Comedy-drama series
What it’s about: M (Rachel Weisz) is a college professor who’s lost the spark in her life. But when she meets Vladimir (Leo Woodall), that spark comes back in a major way. M needs to be careful, though, because her new obsession could turn into an inferno that destroys her life.
Why you should watch it: A steamy, spicy comedy-drama starring an actress as talented as Weisz? What’s not to love about “Vladimir”? Especially with John Slattery playing her (seemingly awful) husband, John.
Stream “Vladimir” on Netflix starting March 5
‘One Piece’ season 2
Watch On
Genre: Fantasy adventure series
What it’s about: Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) dreams of becoming the “King of the Pirates,” and thanks to his body’s rubber-like abilities, his a formidable force. To become king, though, he and his trusted allies, Nami (Emily Rudd) and Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), must find the fabled legendary One Piece treasure. This season, that means venturing the Grand Line, and that could spell death for our heroes.
Why you should watch it: A beloved fantasy show in its own right, “One Piece” has been hailed as an incredible adaptation of the iconic manga of the same name. So whether you’re a diehard fan or a newcomer to the series, it’s worth a watch.
Stream “One Piece” season 2 on Netflix starting March 10
‘Virgin River’ season 7
Watch On
Genre: Romance drama series
What it’s about: When she first arrived at Virgin River, California, Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) was a midwife and nurse practitioner looking for a fresh start. But now, she’s married to Jack (Martin Henderson), trying to adopt a baby and fully embroiled in the drama of this small town.
