Cuisinart coffee maker

When it comes to single-serve coffee makers, you’ve got a ton to choose from. If you’re interested in avoiding all that pod waste, this Cuisinart coffee maker might be the one for you. It’s compatible with the Cuisinart reusable filter cup, which means you can keep using the bougie beans from your local cafe. Besides doing a solid for the environment, you get to save 33% right now—it’s on sale for $99.95, down from its retail price of $149.95.

KitchenAid cordless immersion blender

A regular blender has its uses, but it’s limited to what you can dump in the container. If you want free-wheelin’, limitless blending in bowls, pots, and large cups, then what you need is an immersion blender. This one from KitchenAid is on sale right now for $99.95, 23% off its usual retail price. While even this price might seem a little steep, it’s important to note that it’s cordless. As a person who’s been immersion blending for over a decade, I can tell you that cordless is the only way to go. Trust me. It’s worth it.

Crock-Pot slow cooker

Slow cookers are safe, effective, and require very little active work from you. Crock-Pot brand wants you to embrace this style of cooking. Its six-quart programmable slow cooker with side clamps (to keep the lid in place for traveling) is on sale right now for $59.99. Personally, I think six quarts is the best size for slow cookers—enough for two people and leftovers, and sufficient for big dinner parties. I love breaking out the slow cooker for big family meals where I just want to keep the food toasty warm for casual grazing, or for winter festivities where I’ll potentially need mulled wine to stay hot without keeping it on a gas burner for hours.

Zojirushi rice cooker

I’m a bit partial to simple, no-frills rice cookers. Normally I steer clear of brands like Zojirushi—known for spaceship-like super rice cookers surfing the $200-mark with multiple presets and digital timers—but this simple Zojirushi rice cooker has fully caught my attention. It’s the type of rice cooker I grew up using, with one simple toggle switch for Cook and Warm modes. You get the benefits of a reliable name brand with the simplicity of a classic rice steamer. It’s normally an affordable $59.50, but right now it’s 33% off for $39.99

Kitchen in the Box stand mixer

If you’re looking for a chill type of stand mixer that says “I’m here to help” versus “Let’s start a freakin’ dog biscuit business, bro,” then this Kitchen in the Box stand mixer might be the right fit for you. It’s 26% off right now, a cool $59.49 (down from $79.99) which is a great price for such a versatile appliance. While three quarts isn’t big enough for professional use, it’s certainly enough space to mix cookie dough and cake mix, make mashed potatoes while you tend the Thanksgiving turkey, or shred slow-cooked pork for pulled pork sandwiches. This highly rated stand mixer has a tilt head design and a dial to easily control the speed.

Vitamix Ascent X3 blender

Whenever big sales like these roll around, it’s completely normal to ask yourself if today is the day to finally splurge on a Vitamix blender. I don’t know your budget, but after testing the Vitamix Ascent X5 (read here for the deets), I can tell you that it is the most mighty blender I’ve used to date. Sad news: The X5 isn’t on sale. Great news: The Vitamix X3 is on sale. The X3 model has the three most common presets that you’ll use on any Vitamix anyway (smoothie, frozen dessert, soup) and you can always use the regular Start, Stop, and Pulse buttons to take care of dips and nut butters as you wish. The power and craftsmanship is still the caliber you’d expect from the Vitamix brand. With the relatively compact dimensions of 9.75″D x 7.75″W x 17″H, this model can easily be stored in a low cabinet or pantry closet.

Cuisinart Air Fryer toaster oven

My top pick for best overall air fryer is nearly 40% off right now. The Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven is a large oven-style air fryer with a wide viewing window and analog turning dials for time, temperature, and fan speed settings. The thing that sets this air fryer apart from all the other mini convection ovens out there is the super quiet convection fan. Read here for my full review of this powerful and discreet appliance.

What do you think so far?

Instant Vortex air fryer

Let it never be said that I left the basket-style air-fryer lovers behind. My favorite basket-style air fryer, the Instant Vortex is 40% off right now for Amazon’s Big Spring Sale. This appliance is a true workhorse. It’s continuously produced even browning and crisping, the basket style is extremely easy to clean, and it’s lightweight enough to lift, move, and store if you don’t have much counter space. Currently at $83.99, down from its usual $139.99, this air fryer is a bargain right now.

KRUPS waffle maker

Every functional kitchen needs a waffle maker. This might surprise you, but it’s not just for making waffles. A waffle maker is a versatile appliance with a special indented pattern that, when pressed into ingredients, increases surface area and can make foods even more crispy and delicious with increased browning and caramelization. You can waffle burger patties, cheese, rice, shrimp, or even entire sandwiches. This waffle maker from KRUPS is 25% off right now and has removable plates, which I highly recommend to simplify your cleanup.

Instant Pot Duo

The Instant Pot has lost some of its social vigor—fine—but that doesn’t mean it’s not an incredible kitchen appliance. In fact, losing its novelty makes it kind of the best time to buy. Observe: This Instant Pot is currently 30% off, and it’s a full-on multicooker that is wifi-enabled and has apparently over 2,000 recipes accessible via the Instant app.

This is the largest discount that this air fryer has experienced yet, so it’s worth checking out if you’ve been in the market. It’s important to note that this is part of the Instant Duo line, which means it has air-frying capabilities as well. That’s a pretty big deal for something that made its name via steam pressure.

Cuisinart food processor

A food processor can be a huge help in the kitchen, especially for big batches and prep work that requires a lot of chopping, slicing, or shredding. This highly rated food processor from Cuisinart is 20% off right now. This Cuisinart food processor has a 14-cup container, so it’s on the larger side of the spectrum, and has a simple two-button operating system. It comes with a standard S-blade, a slicing and shredding attachment, and a dough-kneading attachment. If you’ve been looking for a professional-quality food processor, this is the one to grab.
